- This study was carried out to investigate the survival rate, growth and some body measurements of Awassi sheep in Breeder Conditions at Sivrihisar County in Eskişehir. Continental climate conditions in the region are prevail. 290 lambs and 280 ewes were used in the study. The least squares means for lambs were 3.97±0.06, 10.69±0.16, 14.04±0.22, 17.05±0.27, 19.47±0.30 and 21.77±0.32 kg for birth, 30th, 45th, 60th, 75th and 90th days weights, respectively. Survival rates of lambs at 60th and 90th days were 91.72 and 89.31 %, respectively. Mean values of live weight, head length, chest depth, chest width, body length, wither height and rump height were 47.75±0.29 kg, 19.63±0.12, 30.35±0.11, 18.73±0.10, 65.09±0.20, 61.05±0.15 ve 58.77±0.16 cm, respectively. The result of study shows that survival rate, growth and some body mesurements of Awassi breed in Eskişehir (Central Anatolia) conditions were similar to normal values of the breed. So, Awassi sheep could be raised successfully in Eskişehir conditions in terms of investigated production traits. Keywords : Awassi, Body Measurement, Growth, Sheep, Survival Rate
