OST FRİZ X KIVIRCIK F1 MELEZİ KOYUNLARIN ORTA ANADOLU ŞARTLARINDA DÖL VERİMİ VE SÜT VERİMİ ÖZELLİKLERİ

2 Prof. Dr. Ankara Üniv. Veteriner Fakültesi - In this research, fertility and milk yield characteristics of East Friesien x Kıvırcık first crosses (Fı) have been examined in Central Anatolian environmental conditions.

The number of lambs per 100 ewes lambed were 127 and 129 in 2 and 3 aged ewes respectively. This has been 128 in general.

Lactation lengths, mean dailv milk yield and lactation milk yield have been 157.2 days, 489 g and 78.2 kg respectively.

İt has been concluded that East Freisen x Kıvırcık first crosses have not performed well in the Middle Anatolian enviroment. As a result of that, for new tyoe to develop in the Middle Anatolian, it would be more beneficial to study on Akkaraman ewes. Keywords :
