A Study on Force (lnduced) Moulting Methods in Broiler Breeders
2 Lalahan Hayvancılık Araştırma Enstitüsü, ANKARA - This investigation has been done to determine the most efficient force moulting methods in broiler breeders. A total of 462 chickens comes from A-22, A-44 mother lines and B-55 father line were used in this study. Namely Traditionel, Washington and California methods which based on feed and water deprivation were carried out.
At the end of the research, the highest body weight losses were found in California for A-22 and B-55, in Traditional for A-44. Mortality was also found 0.86 % in the experiment.
As a conclussion, it seems that the most available methods of these three are Califfornia for A-22 and B-55 and Traditional for A-44.
