Insemination results with diluted and stored ram and goat semen

The object of this study is to controll the insemination results of the diluted and stored ram and goat semen. For this reason; semen was collected by artificial vagina from rams and goats then diluted with egg yolk-citrate buffer without antibiotic 1 : 3 ratio. Diluted semen was kept at 4-5 oC between 2.5-3 hours. During the insemination 0.1-0.2 cc semen was deposited into the cervix. The lambing percent was changed between % 47.7-74 among the ewes with average % 57.7. The conception rate of goats was changed between % 50-70 with average % 61.2.
