An investigation about przhevalskiana slenus (Brauer) observed among the Angora Goats
It is understood that these parasites were having harmfull effects on the production and growth rate of the animals, so far to find out these parasites the fallowing actions have been taken:
The larvaes were collected from the animals and examined their morphological characters.
The larvaes were left to the artificial conditions which a female and a male fly was obtained. Again these two flies morphological characters were examined surch as the larvaes.
A comparision has been made our findings (on the larvaes and the flies which were obtained from the same larvaes) with the findings of Przhevalskiana crossii (Patton), Przhevalskiana aegagri (Brauer) and Przhevalskiana silenus (Brauer) these mentioned in the text were showing the very much the same morphological charecters to each other.
The parasite which is observed among Angora goats at Lalahan Animal Breeding Station is identified as a Przhevalskiana silenus (Brauer).
