- We have done this work to determine the morphological characters of Red Cattle of Eastern Anatolia (D.A.K.) and to compare them with their Brown Swiss cross-breeds by body measurements and live weight.

The Red Cattle at the Cattle Breeding Station in Kazova, Tokat, formed the data of our work. The figures have been calculated statistically.

The body measurements and live weight for D.A.K. cattle breed are shown at the Table 1. Some body indexes are given with the Table 2.

The body measurements and live weight for D.A.K. x Brown Swiss crossbereds are shown at the Table 3. Some body indexes are given with the Table 2.

The results have been compared to the other similar researches on this subject;

D.A.K. x Brown Swiss cross breeds are bigger than D.A.K. cattle breed for nearly all the measures.

D.A.K. x Brown Swiss cross breeds are smaller than Native Grey Steppe Cattle x Brown Swiss cross breeds for most measures. Keywords :
