A study on A.I. of Angora does insaminated with diluted and stored Buck semen

- This experiment has been carried out to study the result of insemination of Angora does with diluted and stored buck semen. 150 A. does and 4 bucks have been used for this experiment at Yerköy Farm in 1968. Does which showed estrus are divided into three groups in everyday and inseminated with the same buck semen. Each group had 50 does in this manner at the and of experiment.

First group have been used as a Control and inseminated with fresh semen. Conseption rate is 93.87 %.

Second group inseminated with equal part of fresh semen and diluter of 20 % egg yolk + 2.9 % sod.sitrate. Conception rate is 91.66 %.

Third group inseminated with same diluted semen which stored 2-3 hours at + 18 oC - + 20 oC Conseption rate is 87.75 %.

The doses are 0.1 cc. For three groups. Keywords :
