The effects of level of crude protein of ration on prececal and postileal -digestion of crude protein and -absorption of amino acids in sheep
Digestion of crude protein and absorption of amino acids were increased in prececal area (P< 0.01) and decreased in postileal area (Crude protein P> 0.05, amino acids P< 0.01) depending on the level of crude protein in the ration. There was no significant differences between rations containing medium and high crude protein value in absorption of some amino acids in total gastrointestinal tract.
Relation between digestion of crude protein and absorption of amino acids was found stronger in prececal area (r=0.94) than in total gastrointestinal tract (r=0.81).
