Effects of Monensin on Fattening Performance of Merino Lambs Conducted to İntensive Fattening

2 Koyunculuk Araştırma Enstitüsü Müdürlüğü, BANDIRMA - This research was carried out to detemıine effects of Monensin supplementatton on fattening performance of merino male lambs. Monensin was supplemented to the feeds of lambs as 0, 10, 15, 20 and 25 mg/kg levels respecttvely.

İt has been detennined thot, 20 mg/kg Monensin supplemantation to the rations of lambs was ensured 12.40 % increase at liveweight gain and 10.60 % increase at feed efficiency and 5.59 % decrease at feed expense of 1 kg of liveweight gain of lambs. Keywords : Lamb Fattening, ,Monensin
