² Kırıkkale Üniversitesi Delice Meslek Yüksekokulu, Delice/Kırıkkale - The causes of calf losses and preventive measures for calf losses have been evaluated in this study. Feeding errors that cause calf losses in dairy cattle have been discussed in detail. Moreover, the importance of Colostrum for the survival of calf has been highlighted. In conclusion, it has been thought that care has to be taken from maternal care, feed given to calf to calf feeders. Keywords : Calf, calf loss, nutrition
