¹ Ankara Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Zootekni Anabilim Dalı - ANKARA - While dairy cattle numbers have been reduced especially in developed countries, their production have been increased continuously. In dairy cattle breeding, whether new technologies are being tried, or former techniques studying to developed. Among this technologies; progeny test, nucleus herd-MOET technique, in vitro fertilisation (IVF), in vitro embryo production (IVEP), cloning, embryo/sperm sexing with marker assisted selection (MAS). But, nucleus herd-MOET technique is the most on studying among these. In this review, it has been discussed that use of nucleus herd-MOET technique on dairy cattle development.
