- This research has been done with rabbit races of White New Zealand, California and Chinchilla. Effect of rations of high protein, low protein and containing urea with protein ration examined the feed efficiency.

Experiment has been continued on three main groups(I.Ration, II.Ration, III.Ration Groups). Each mean group was formed three subgroups(White New Zealand, California and Chinchilla)and each subgroup was included 12 rabbits for each race. Then, the daily weight gain, the feed consumption and the feed conversion were determined by subgroups. All these values were not statisticaly significant.

With the ration is contained urea, two months old rabbits were fed on 6 weeks and coefficients of gains in liveweight is 55.6 % on California rabbit, 49.0 % on White New Zeland rabbits and 47.0 % on Chinchilla rabbits.

With feeding of three groups, gain in liveweight of Chinchilla rabbits is lower than others. Feed performance of California rabbits and White New Zealand rabbits are the best. It will be prefered to feed California rabbits with the ration contained urea. In this study, it is determined that 2.69 TL. income were obtained by 1 TL feed cost for California rabbits.
